Back to the grind

Well, I made it through the first day back at college and it actually wasn't too bad. 6 AM practice didn't come as early as I expected and I really like my classes, so I'll chalk that up to a success. I'm nervous about all the homework and assignments that I saw on the syllabuses but it's fine. I just need to keep my planner up to date and stay on top of it all. I also got my schedule of tennis practices today and it seems really manageable. I know we still have to throw in games but that won't be too much extra.
Tonight we don't have any homework so Rachel is staying over so that we can just get up and go to practice in the morning. I love having "college sleepovers". I guess that's because I was too scared to do sleepovers when I was young, lol. I guess dorms are kinda just like one big slumber party every night. It's like sleeping under the same roof as all you're closest friends all the time. Yeah, we have separate rooms, but they're all within a minute of each other.
Tomorrow I have my first Tuesday-Thursday classes and I hope I'll like them as much as I like my MWF's. I have an English Lit class at 8 am and I've heard the professor has a soft voice, so who knows if I'll even stay awake. I'm going to drink lots of coffee and hope for the best.
